Sarah began her modeling journey with no prior experience before joining RAWE Models during our second season. Through dedication, growth, and hands-on development, she went on to sign with The Artist Agency in Washington, D.C. Since then, she has collaborated with numerous local photographers to expand her portfolio and has been placed on hold for exciting opportunities involving major retailers such as Nordstrom. Sarah's journey reflects the growth, confidence, and opportunities that can come from investing in yourself and your modeling career.

“Going through the RAWE development program played such a big role in my modeling journey. With little knowledge of the industry, the program gave me guidance and confidence for me to get started. Beyond the opportunities, I’ve gained so much knowledge, support, and an amazing community. I’m so grateful for RAWE being such a meaningful part of my journey!”

MEET OUR FOUNDER

As the Founder and President of RAWE Models, Raniah Aweina brings both professional industry experience and a passion for creating opportunities for aspiring talent. Represented by The Artist Agency in Washington, D.C., and The Curv Management in New York City, Raniah has built her modeling career through commercial and fashion projects with brands such as Volkswagen and Lansdowne Resort. Recognizing how intimidating and often gatekept the modeling industry can be, she founded RAWE Models with the vision of creating a community for individuals who share an interest in modeling but may not know where to begin. Her mission is to make industry knowledge, resources, and opportunities more accessible while empowering aspiring models to pursue their goals with the guidance and support they deserve. Through RAWE, Raniah hopes to break down barriers and create a space where passion and potential can turn into real opportunities.
